When you reach the billing information page, our website becomes secure. This is the only area where our customers enter sensitive billing and credit card information. Look for the paddle lock at the bottom of the page. You will also note that web page address appearing at in the browser will go from an http to an https address.
You will receive an order number if you have successfully placed your order. Orders are then confirmed with an automated response service so you will also receive a copy of your order via email to the address that you provided. Remember... most orders require a signature for delivery.
~ Product Information ~
Manufacturer Defects- All items are guaranteed to be delivered free of manufacturer's defects and as ordered. If any item has a manufacturer's defect as determined by the manufacturer, it will be corrected by them at no charge to you. We will even pay for your return INSURED REGULAR US MAIL shipping if it is determined to be a manufacturer's defect or our mistake. For jewelry- Loss of stones, broken prongs or any other damage caused by accident or abuse is not covered. Note that many warranties are voided if someone other that the manufacturer works on the item.
OUR Mistakes or Errors- If we have made a mistake, we will take care of the problem. We will also reimburse you for any return via insured REGULAR US Mail that you incur because of a mistake or error on our part. (If you select another carrier or faster method, you are responsible for the difference.) You must notify us within 15 days of the delivery date if there is a problem. You may incur a fee to correct the error if we are not notified within this time frame so it is very important that you inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you have made the mistake, you will be responsible for any fees to correct the problem plus shipping fees.
Many items are special ordered or special made just for you. Once placed with the mfr. they cannot be cancelled and are not returnable. Returnable Items: Items marked as RETURNABLE in our online store or in our correspondence to you may be returned for a refund within "15 days of the date shipped". Items must be in new, unaltered, unworn condition (no scratches, scuffs, etc.) and in our original packaging. Items returned in any other condition will not qualify for a refund. Rings that you have requested us to size just for you, set with a head size other than indicated online or any other custom or special order item is not returnable. Shipping and packaging charges are not refundable.
IMPORTANT: If you are considering returning any qualifying item, do not wear it. Any item that is scratched or shows any other signs of wear will not qualify for a refund. We reserve the right to limit quantities of returnable items.
Non-Returnable Items: Items that are not returnable are clearly marked as not returnable. Once we have placed your order with the manufacturer and the item goes into production or is in the shipping department, the order may not be cancelled or altered. Many items go into production quickly. If you have made a mistake, contact us immediately. We will make every effort to correct it with the mfr. if it is possible. It will depend where your order is in the production process whether the error can be corrected without additional charge.
To Return Qualifying Items: For your protection, package the item carefully and insure the package to full value. Keep your mailing receipts until you have received credit from us or in case a claim must be filed. Address returns from this store to:

Damages: All items are carefully inspected prior to shipment. If any item is received damaged, you must report it to us within 24 hours of delivery by calling (231) 938-2582. Our answering machine is on 24 hours a day for your convenience. Since all orders are shipped insured, you must save all packing materials for an inspection by the shipping company.

|Failure to Deliver by a Promised Date|
If we do not deliver by a promised date and it is because of an error on our part or one of our manufacturer's, the remedy shall be limited to the reimbursement of the full purchase price of the item ordered (upon our receipt of the returned item if it has already shipped to you). We will not be liable for any expenses beyond this. Note that when we indicate that an item generally ships in about so many days, this is NOT a promised delivery date.
If delivery delay is due to the shipping company such as FedEx, UPS, US Postal Service, etc., we will not be liable nor responsible for the delay. It is the shipping company's responsibility to deliver in the time frames they advertise. Any remedies shall be in accordance with the shipping company's policies. Note that all orders are shipped via insured delivery in case of loss/damage while in their control.
We make every effort to provide beautiful jewelry and gifts at a competitive price. If the precious metal market should change or if mfrs. increase their prices to us, our online prices will also be effected. We reserve the right to change pricing. If this should ever occur, you would be contacted for authorization to proceed with your order at the new price. |Mfr. Catalog List Prices|
Manufacturer's catalog list prices are generally a 2 to 3 time (wholesale x 2 is called keystone, wholesale x 3 is called triple keystone) mark-up for most items. We usually do not sell at this mark-up (unless required by the mfr.). This does not mean that this it is what an item sells for or should sell for elsewhere. Retail price is generally determined by the retailer's markup requirements. Before you make any important purchase, we encourage you to comparison shop so you will know when you have found the best price on the item(s) you wish to purchase.
We do not sell or trade our customer's or potential customer's information to other businesses or individuals. We will not bombard with email unrelated to your order... we will not put you on any type of email list UNLESS you request it. That is not our way of business. If you see "14kp" stamped inside one of our ring mountings, do not confuse this with a low quality "gold plated" item. 14kp stands for 14 karat "plumb gold". This means that the mounting is no less than 14k gold in purity. Also, when comparing prices remember to compare same karat gold fineness and gram weights. Of course an item weighing 6.8 grams is going to be more expensive than one that weighs only 1.5 grams, even if they appear the same.
